Our Red Rocks engagement photography session with Sarah and David was a blast! Not long before, David proposed to Sarah during a concert here so the location is perfectly sentimental. Plus, Red Rocks is so historical and full of magic! With adventure in every corner, we have fun exploring the nooks and crannies of the amphitheater as well as some of Morrison. The ability to be creative and make a gallery that feels like many different locations even if it is only one or two is what we strive for. We try to utilize all that we are given in any location. Having a couple trust us and be willing to dance and play helps a lot, too. Oh, and do you see downtown Denver in the distance?! Check it out!
Sunrise Vacancy & Outfits
Also, the best time to take portraits without many people around is during sunrise. Sure, it’s probably not typical of your usual schedule, and it’s not very fun waking up on short rest. Moreover, picking an outfit to compliment your environment is also worth trying. Sarah and David intentionally wore dark colors to complement the red in the landscape. If you are uncertain about what colors would look best for your photo shoot, we are happy to help you choose an outfit(s). Furthermore, wearing comfortable shoes is vital too. Sarah wore flats due to the steep nature of the stairs. Heels would have made for a long morning 😉
