Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement
It was a tale of two seasons for Cameron and Luke’s Rocky Mountain National Park engagement. There was a distinct Spring feel at lower elevations of the park, and the summit of our adventure presented a blizzard at Bear Lake with low visibility, slick terrain, and heavy winter snowfall. These crazy extremes in weather is what makes Rocky Mountain National Park so exciting and wild to shoot in. Though, it was difficult to do much of anything in these crazy snowy conditions, we thankfully had Luke to keep our spirits bright! His sense of humor and limitless energy made our shoot! In addition, both Cameron and Luke’s combined playful nature made trekking around in a blizzard a blast. I don’t think any of us ever stopped smiling the whole two hours.
Though our time at Bear Lake was curtailed by the harsh conditions, we still got a lot of play time in; while the times we had at the bottom of the park allowed us to pause and really soak in the natural beauty surrounding us. The aspen trees made for a terrific and spontaneous dance nook, and even more, the soft moments between Luke and Cameron absorbing their engagement and understanding their forthcoming commitment was a joy to see and capture.
Luke and Cameron, we admire your mutual drive and passion, and we wish you all the successes as you progress in your careers together – you literally give the world a better smile!! Thank you for making us a part of your journey together, and we cannot wait to see what’s next for you two!
Luke & Cameron met while in Dental School, so we just LOVED the fact that they brought their white coats out for a few shots!
