We’re Meg & Kevin

We’ve been planning Colorado elopements for 8 years and even planned our own destination elopement in Thailand! We’re passionate about sustainability and making art. That’s why we quickly realized that big weddings were not where our photography would thrive. So we set out to explore every breathtaking & awe-inspiring nook & cranny of Colorado to help others get married and have the adventure of their life!

Frequently Asked Questions

Your final gallery is a carefully curated and refined compilation of your day. Two shooters doubles the amount of images we start with and provides the absolute best photographs. It literally allows us to be in two places at once. Multiple angles and perspectives provide great versatility to the overall quality of your gallery. Meg and Kevin have two inherently different perspectives that compliment one another absolutely. Two photographers also create more equality and balance to the overall experience. No - if you are unsure about where and when you want to elope, we will help you figure out both. We recommend identifying the where first because this can determine the when.
We've photographed over 200 weddings and elopements in Colorado and have never been rained or snowed out. However, if something were to happen, we reserve days on either end of your elopement so that we can move the date if needed. It's worth noting that mild rain or snow can create an even more romantic and photogenic atmosphere.
The best times for photographs are two hours after sunrise or two hours before sunset. High-noon, bright sunlight does white balances no favors in addition to causing eyes to squint closed. We will create your elopement timeline around the best lighting of the day.
We send you a link to your online gallery via email. This gallery is an online website for your photographs and is password protected. As the client, you can make any images you want private before sharing the rest with others. You can also print, download, and share directly from your gallery's website. We release full print rights to you, so you may also use any other third party if you like.
Yes! We've collectively spent nearly three decades exploring Colorado and can help you identify the perfect space for you to get married based on your desires. We can also recommend vendors for any of your elopement needs.
Some locations require a special use or photography permit for you to have a ceremony. As part of our services, we will do this research and obtain any required permits on your behalf.
Yes! We offer Super 8 film videography and will create a compilation of your entire day. The length will vary based on how much time we have together.
You have the right to self-solemnize in the state of Colorado. If you prefer to have an officiant to create a little more structure, Kevin is happy to create a unique ceremony to who you are as a couple.
Our approach to photographing couples is playful and fun, and we will guide you in ways that feel natural and comfortable. Our aim is for you to become lost in the moment with each other so much that you forget we're taking photographs.
