Rocky Mountain Winter Engagement
Lauren and Steve’s Rocky Mountain National Park winter engagement was a ton of fun! We began at one of our favorite nooks in the park and definitely got our shoot started in style. We then drove up to Bear Lake and for a Saturday, it was actually fairly unoccupied. As soon as we arrived, we caught a clear view of the sun along with a mild and breezy snowstorm. The snow blew parallel to the ground; each somersaulting snowflake periodically flickered like oscillating constellations. It was pure magic!
Next, we trekked up to Nymph Lake and got some different looks as the clouds hugged the sun. We also found some cool shots on the trails in between the two lakes. After some cliffside cuddling and more play on the lake, a puffy grey storm steamed over the spout of the mountain top and blurred the skyline. We knew it was time to head down to our final spots.
Lauren and Steve, thank you for the wonderful time at Rocky Mountain National Park. Even more, thank you for breaking bread with us afterward! It was so much fun, and we wish you so much love on your Detroit wedding day and beyond!
How magical!! I love when you get a location all to yourself. Looks like a super fun day!
These photos are so cute! I love how playful they are. Also, RMNP is one of my all time fave parks!
RMNP is always so nice in the winter when no one is there. Hope you guys didn’t freeze!
I love how you captured a mix of sweet photos and playful moments! So beautiful, hope I can get to RMNP sometime soon!
