Grand Tetons Elopement
Grand Tetons Elopement
Margaret and Lee’s Grand Tetons elopement is purely exhilarating! Gazing at the stark zigs and zags of these still-growing peaks reminds the beholder of the rhythm of their heart. Scanning the horizon of these giant mountaintops is like reading an EKG. It’s only fitting because one certainly feels more alive beneath these towering masses of mountain and majesty. If you find these 13,776 feet within the symmetry of reflection, the timbre of your heart might even deepen, reaching octaves below the surface.
Somewhere in between contemplating parallel universes and self-reflections, Margaret and Lee get married. The Grand Tetons are a lover’s paradise with twice the amount of romance and enchantment in the stillness of morning. The natural spontaneity and exuberant playfulness the Grand Tetons create is pure delight. It is just fascinating to look in wonder at the formations of this land. We got to spend eight hours with Margaret and Lee, and even then, we just scratched the surface.
Stillness
When calm, the waters around the Grand Tetons are mirrors. Although being able to see your reflection in a lake requires just the right environment. There are many variables that must cooperate in your favor. The water needs to be pure enough. The wind must be calm. There must not be many people, if any, moving along the surface of the water. The sun beams need to shine at certain angles. An absence of sound is preferable. Oftentimes, in locations that are reasonably populated, the only time these conditions exist are at sunrise. Furthermore, you yourself must remain still to recognize reflection’s full detail.
Sure enough, we happened upon a private moment of quiet and tranquility together. And the love we see within Margaret and Lee is something words can’t describe.
Acuity
Once it was time to move from our stillness, we tossed a modest sized stone into the lake. The echoing momentum radiated away from the center like the grooves of a vinyl record. In the quiet, we could see the sound waves of the splash. When the waves pushed onward into infinity without any interruption, Lee brushed the edges of Margaret’s ring with his fingertip. But where does a circle begin?
Margaret and Lee are a perfect match. She is the patient rock to his permeating and consistent brainwaves. His thoughts come back to and revolve around her. She is calm and attentive and gracefully balances Lee’s infectious, thought-provoking spirit. Margaret is the stillness Lee needs to see himself. In turn, Margaret is able to better know herself through reflecting Lee’s energy.
It’s amazing how just one stone can garner your complete and undivided attention. It is captivating and compelling. Watching time skim and ring the surface of the water is fascinating. Seeing a crown of fog evaporate from a new day is inspiring. Elopements allow for a slower pace and less distraction from what’s really important.
No Debate
Margaret and Lee are brilliant. It was an honor to be so inspired by not only the landscape, but this sweet, driven pair of humans. Lee forgot his coat so he just wore a shirt and tie. As it turns out, you don’t necessarily need a lapel for flowers. Lee just accessorized his accessory! It’s not up for debate: pinning a boutonniere on a tie is the next fashion trend 🙂 The mellow mood of elopements is just perfect for these types of adaptations! Margaret and Lee, thank you so much for sharing your love! Your Grand Tetons elopement was just a dream!
