Aspen Elopement

Emily and Chris’s Aspen elopement is a delight from start to finish.  Nestled on the back patio of a family member’s wooden deck, Emily and Chris exchange vows.  Their words and promises to each other shine brightly among the quaint flicker of candles and colorful flower arrangements.  Their siblings are the maid of honor and best man, respectively.  Roaring Fork River smoothly swishes alongside and confidently flows into the distance.  The soothing, watery soundtrack is the perfect accompaniment for the moment.  This joyful Aspen elopement is a private and pensive time for reflection, love, and celebration!

First Dance

Indeed, every elopement deserves a first dance.  Small devices make it simple to amplify sound wherever you go.  Certain songs have been redefined in our minds because they become such an emotional part of the couple’s day.  From Adele to Neil Young and beyond, there are unique songs of significance to commemorate and enhance the day.  Now, every time we hear “Harvest Moon,” we always think of Emily and Chris.  It is the most perfect song and takes us back to this sweet moment every single time.

Before & After

We photograph Emily and Chris getting ready at a nearby hotel beforehand and explore a cozy space of Aspen after their ceremony.  The hotel is classic and sophisticated.  Moreover, they are able to display a different part of their personalities within the hotel than they can elsewhere.  The environment and atmosphere is a different platform on which to exist and interact.  The gorgeous outdoor land we explore towards twilight is another part of the adventure where Emily and Chris can play and dance 🙂

Adventure Session

Finally, Emily and Chris adventure in Snowmass after their Aspen elopement.  Adventure sessions are so playful and a wonderful way to supplement your elopement gallery.  If you are traveling to a breathtaking location, why not spend a couple hours playing together outside?  You can further explore the world around your elopement site and also choose to wear different outfits if you like!  The vibe is a little different than that of an elopement, and they are so much fun!
