Unforgettable Colorado Micro Wedding
After eight incredible years together, B and T finally tied the knot and had a Colorado micro wedding with their closest loved ones! These two lovebirds first met in nursing school and have been inseparable ever since. As ICU nurses working opposite schedules throughout the pandemic, they truly understand the value of cherishing every moment. That’s why they made it their mission to create a wedding day that was stress-free, intentional, and filled with love and laughter.
Colorado Micro Wedding Venue: Sapphire Point
For their special day, B and T decided to embrace the breathtaking beauty of the mountains in Breckenridge, Colorado at Sapphire Point. They rented a gorgeous home that could easily grace the pages of Architectural Digest, providing the perfect backdrop for their intimate celebration. This allowed them to accommodate their beloved guests and also served as a charming reception space.
A Sunrise Hike and Heartfelt Letters
Before the festivities began, B and T wanted to carve out some private time for themselves. They woke up bright and early to embark on a sunrise hike, immersing themselves in the tranquility of nature. As the first rays of sunlight kissed the mountains, a peachy alpine glow enveloped the landscape, creating a magical atmosphere. It was the perfect moment for them to exchange heartfelt letters, lost in each other’s gaze.
As the morning unfolded, B and T reunited with their friends and family for the formal ceremony. The couple’s impeccable taste was evident in the understated decor, which exuded the warm boho vibes of fall with burnt orange hues and blush pinks. Their chosen venue, Sapphire Point, provided a breathtaking view of a turquoise mountain lake framed by a geometric floral-covered arch. It was a sight that took everyone’s breath away!
Intentionality and Authenticity: A Thoughtfully Planned Micro Wedding
Despite the smaller guest count, B and T’s wedding day was a testament to intentionality and authenticity. Every detail was carefully thought out to reflect their unique love story and create a profound impact on everyone present.
Photographing B and T’s Colorado micro wedding was truly unforgettable. One aspect that stood out to us as photographers was the couple’s decision to prioritize alone time throughout the day. This allowed us ample opportunity to capture stunning newlywed portraits of just the two of them, while also giving them a chance to savor precious moments together. It was evident that they valued this intimate time and cherished the opportunity to create lasting memories!
Creating Lasting Memories: A Family-Centric Micro Wedding
What made this micro wedding particularly intriguing was its unique position between elopements and traditional weddings. It was the perfect compromise for B and T, as they navigated their differing preferences. While B preferred to avoid being the center of attention, T envisioned a grander, more traditional celebration. The micro wedding struck the perfect balance, allowing them to have a meaningful ceremony surrounded by their loved ones while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere that suited B’s preferences.
The presence of their family was of utmost importance to B and T. They wanted to share this special day with their loved ones and create memories that would be cherished by all. This Colorado micro wedding provided the perfect setting for their family to come together and witness the union of two souls while still maintaining an intimate and personal atmosphere.

“Meg and Kevin are truly the best! We could not have asked for a better team to be by our sides on our big day. They are much more than just photographers. Meg and Kevin helped us select how we wanted to use our time to best accommodate both my wants for a quiet, intimate elopement, and my husband’s want for more of a traditional ceremony/reception vibe. They also helped us pick our locations and made our day of timeline, which was so helpful. Our sneak peek photos are to die for and I cannot express how grateful we both are. Kevin even did our sunrise hike in a walking boot with an injury to his foot that he delayed surgery on so he could be there for our day, so if that doesn’t speak volumes to their passion I’m not sure what does.”
