Every relationship starts off ordinary, but to define and transform into the extraordinary takes pure love, perseverance, and passion. Brad and Shannon embodied this notion as their Mount Vernon Canyon Club Wedding kicked off our 2019 season!
Though it was brisk, the clarity of the skies and uninterrupted sunshine were great for shooting especially with the breathtaking views overlooking the front range. Brad & Shannon’s first look melted our hearts – it was pure magic and ignited the rest of the day! Our newlywed portrait expedition just after the ceremony was sunlit to perfection, and our heavenly vantage on Lookout Mountain illuminated the radiance of these two lovers.
The maid of honor and best man knew exactly how to make the newlyweds laugh. The room was a hysterical riot with a warm, cherry-red glow beaming from the center of the bridal party. Adding to the humor was a child defiantly asking his mother, “What’s so funny about that?” The best, though, had to be Shannon’s father and his short but sweet closing words. During her father’s heartfelt speech he spoke of wishing to give his daughter the ability to see herself through his eyes. Cue tears and hearts melting.
One very important guest could not make it to the wedding because he is currently fighting for our country overseas in Africa as part of the Air Force. Not to worry, Brad and Shannon obtained a larger-than-life size cardboard cutout of Drew’s face so that he was still a part of the wedding. All night long, his smile was flawless – clearly, he was the most photogenic of the group.
Brad and Shannon, thank you for letting us capture your amazing Mount Vernon Canyon Club wedding! We had a blast and look forward to watching you continue to make the ordinary extraordinary.
