Lake Isabelle Hiking Elopement
Rachelle and James’ Lake Isabelle hiking elopement marks the end of their quest to exchange vows, and the beginning of marriage. These lovers exercised the full extent of their patience, as this adventure is the fourth iteration of their wedding day. They bent but never broke, nor did they fight the social distancing regulations preventing their original plans. They amended their wedding day details and adapted to current requirements. Just like their sweet love , they are resilient with strong determination and passion. They simply were not to be denied.
The prevailing, fundamental constant that never varied in any of their plans was the declaration of their vows. Their trek to the top of Lake Isabelle is an extension of their journey to this point. They had to search for new routes to achieve their goals. We were able to help convert their wedding day into this gorgeous, deeply sentimental hiking elopement. We prepared a customized locations guide with multiple planning calls and correspondence. Ultimately, our collaboration landed upon this breathtaking location. There are no shortcuts to true love, and there certainly weren’t any shortcuts to making this day a reality. Wide-eyed, they begin the ultimate journey together and navigate the unknown, eager to discover forever.
Elopements allow you to take pieces from any of your personal and collective journeys and stitch together a day that is full of meaning and symbolism. We want your final gallery to be like a patchwork quilt that will keep you warm and appease your nostalgia. Love is triumphant. Love endures . And it’s definitely worth sacrificing a party.
Vows
Perched on a boulder overlooking Lake Isabelle, Rachelle sets down her flowers and meets James’ gaze. Cascading sun rays beam through the clouds. As their vow books sweep open, light illuminates the ink that curves and dances across the pages. These scribbles have taken the loving shapes of promises and passion.
Ultimately, declaring these vows is all that mattered to Rachelle and James. Through tears and moments of deep reflection, Rachelle and James were finally able to articulate their commitment to one another. At precisely this moment, the sun burst through the clouds. As if synchronized with their lips, the sunshine absolutely lit up their first kiss and the smiles of one very happy couple 🙂
Even though the pandemic threw a curve ball, Rachelle and James prepared with cursive of their own. If promises are your priority , you can absolutely have a wedding day filled with passion, beauty, and wonder.
Celebration
Love doesn’t have to wait. And in this case, it didn’t. You may need to postpone your party, but you don’t have to postpone your nuptials. The collective excitement for friends and family surrounding Rachelle and James now is the celebration of their marriage in 2021. Rachelle and James can honor their marriage everyday, but in the traditional sense, there is nearly one year to look forward to their big celebration. It is important to realize that there is great value to be found in such warm anticipation.
The commitment between two people so often happens long before their actual marriage ceremony. To that notion, a lot of couples who we work with express that they already feel married. While you do become legally bound for the first time, elopements are a celebration of love and unity. When we met Rachelle and James at a local coffee shop (pre-pandemic), their connection was undeniable. We could clearly see how much they loved one another and acknowledged their deep understanding of their roles in each other’s worlds as well as the rest of the universe. Their love is so genuine and intelligent that it’s hard not to feel something in exchange. You can check out their engagement portraits here .
As the tale of their love is told, the next parts of the story are bound to be filled with intrigue and elation. 2021 is sure to include one grand celebration; so fire up the hype bus, and jump on board!
Hiking elopements accentuate the journey within the journey. If you are interested in learning more about how we can help you elope, please feel free to reach out 🙂
Meg and Kevin have completely outdone themselves with our wedding photos!
We cannot emphasize enough how the availability, flexibility and positivity they radiated impacted our experience. Like many COVID couples, we had to plan/replan our wedding several times. With each iteration, Meg and Kevin were there to help us envision how to make it an incredible day. While this iteration was our last, it was perfect. And as you can see, made for some absolutely stunning photos. We are so grateful for them not only for their obvious talent and creativity with their work, but for being wonderful people we were happy to share our day with.
Lot of good material here keep up the good work
