Halfway House in Boulder Micro Wedding
Halfway House in Boulder
Halfway House in Boulder is a lovely stone building halfway up Flagstaff Mountain that is reservable and dog-friendly. There is a flat stone patio just outside of the main entrance to the house that is perfect for wedding ceremonies, as it backs up to an expansive lush field that stretches toward the mountains and pine tree forests.
Moreover, there is an outdoor area behind the house that conveniently features 3 picnic tables on a flat gravel surface. The petite interior does not receive a lot of natural light and has another 4 tables and a fireplace enclosed within the stone walls. There is a latrine bathroom available 150 yards south along a trail. Glassware of any kind & drones are prohibited.
Boulder Halfway House Reservation Information
Boulder Halfway House is reservable for up to 49 people total (though we recommend keeping your total to around 30 or less due to the size of the space). There are only 12 parking spaces that cost $5 per day. Keep in mind that this lot is open to the public and some spaces might be occupied during your event.
Reservation times are predetermined and cannot be uniquely selected. The only individual hours that are reservable begin at 6am, 7am, and 8am, respectively. The available 3 hour blocks of time are from 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, and 6pm-9pm only. For non-Boulder residents, it costs $100 per individual hour or $275 for the 3-hour blocks of time. Boulder residents pay roughly half of this. The Boulder Halfway House cannot be reserved from Veteran’s Day through New Year’s Day (November 11th, 2024 – January 1st, 2025).
Boulder Micro Wedding
This Boulder micro wedding at Halfway House was an intimate affair with only direct family members and their two pups present. The bride and groom wore traditional Vietnamese wedding attire to honor their heritage. Because structures like arches are prohibited, this couple created an altar from an incredibly colorful floral arrangement and a rug.
Flagstaff Mountain Wedding Locations
There are several Flagstaff Mountain wedding locations where you can get married. Besides Halfway House, a few of our favorites spots on Flagstaff Mountain are Sunrise Amphitheater, Lost Gulch, Artist Point, and Chautauqua Park. A great reception site with seriously delicious food that will accompany any of these locations and is located right across the street from Halfway House is Flagstaff House.
