Emily & Greg’s Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding
On a cool, light afternoon, Greg stood overlooking the Boulder Valley at Sunrise Amphitheater. The ridge just above was a cylindrical stone of Sunrise Amphitheater where he would be marrying the love of his life just moments later. A halo of clouds hung around the peaks of the mountaintops with a light breeze fluttering by. The sun was soon to burst through the clouds. Emily walked up to her fiancée and tapped him on the shoulder. The moment Greg turned and saw his lovely bride Emily was absolutely priceless. Their love for one another was so radiant and palpable. Contagious, even. We had photographic cliffside playtime over the valley with the wedding party and then off to the ceremony.
A musical duo of a violist and bass player were the perfect timbre for the weather and mood of the wedding. As the afternoon progressed, the sun became brighter and brighter until it proudly emerged from beneath the light fog. There was new warmth in the air. Emily and Greg spoke their own vows that gave us all the feels. It was as if the day was opening up and awakening to their sweet, sweet love story just like a bedtime story but in the morning!
The day was full of so many sweet moments. Upon arrival at the amphitheater, Greg thoughtfully gifted books to his groomsmen, part of whom had fought fires together in Mendocino, CA. (We thank and acknowledge them for their wonderful service.) Each book was different and carefully hand selected by Greg. We took a stroll on Pearl Street and downtown Boulder for some fun photos on the town including the top of the Boulder Theater! We even had a fun mini portrait session beside a very cool geometric greenhouse in front of an audience of goats (and baby goats :)!
Greg and Emily, the universe got this one so right, and it was a real joy to be there for your special day! We hope you enjoy this glimpse of the images and have an amazing journey together!
