Echo Lake Engagement | Guru & Shrutika

We got the honor of shooting Guru and Shrutika’s Echo Lake engagement.  They brought several bright and colorful props, some of which Shrutika made herself.  Not only did the props add a beautiful, creative element to the images, but they also illuminated their personalities and their culture.  They coordinated outfits nicely, and their chemistry was evident from the beginning.  Guru was so enthralled with Shrutika the entire time!  It melts our hearts to see lovers so in love!

One thing we love is when couples have ideas for images they want to create.  Guru and Shrutika spoke up when they saw certain compositions they wanted to try.  It is so much fun to collaborate in this way!  If we brainstorm together, we will get optimum results.  What’s more, some things we try on may lead us to our next great pose as well.  That’s part of the fun of engagement shoots – no one else is around so feel free to try literally anything you like!

As the sun fell behind Mount Evans and brought our Echo Lake engagement to an end, the clouds began burning with subtle color, a nice opening act for the stars of the evening.  Guru and Shrutika, we loved sharing the beauty of this evening with you two!  Your Echo Lake engagement shoot put smiles on our faces!  As you spend these last few nights before you officially tie the knot, we wish you the best as you transition into the next phase of your lives together.  We will be thinking of you on Sunday and hope you have the best day ever!
