Crested Butte Marriage License
In order to obtain a Crested Butte marriage license, you must drive approximately 35 minutes to the neighboring town of Gunnison, Colorado to the nearest Clerk and Recorder’s office (located in Gunnison County). You must call ahead of time and make an appointment (970-641-2038). You should have both partners present with valid picture ID’s (passport, drivers license, or military ID). The total cost is $30. You must sign your marriage license within 35 days of receipt and turn it in with 63 days of signing.
