3M Curve Elopement | Abby & Anthony
Gallery Simulation
Abby and Anthony’s 3M Curve elopement is full of the sweetest moments! This blog is the closest thing to a full gallery on our website. Even still, this is only about half of the images Abby and Anthony receive. Nevertheless, you can see some of the finer nuances throughout. Additionally, the black and white images add depth to the overall collection. Choosing photos that are duplicated in black and white varies depending on lighting and the overall vibe of the day. Clients often ask how many photos will be included in their final gallery. For every hour we spend photographing (including hiking and miscellaneous time), you will receive roughly 50-80 images.
Flowers & Friends
To start, the day begins with a floral faux pas. A miscommunication leaves Abby and Anthony without a bouquet. However, it is not a problem. In no way does this affect their mindset or the proceedings, other than a quick detour to pick up a new one. Their elopement highlights that you don’t need everything to happen “perfectly” to have a fantastic experience and meaningful marriage. (Not that there is anything wrong with a sweet bouquet. We love flowers)! Their good friend and pastor, Jesse, officiates the ceremony. He enlists assistance from his gorgeous guitar, and his mellow melodies enrich and compliment the sweet mountain air.
Unity Ceremony
In addition, Abby and Anthony choose to do a foot washing ceremony. We love when couples pay homage or celebrate the day in any way that feels significant and symbolic to them! There are so many ideas that can smoothly integrate into your ceremony or somewhere in the day. These unity ceremonies can further commemorate marriage as well as unite others who cannot be present. You can be as creative as you like! Sand pouring, planting flowers, and assembling mini puzzles are just some ideas. Feel free to create something that has never been done before. Just remember to focus your attention on intention.
Ascension & Adjustment
Finally, we ascend Trail Ridge Road and chase the sunset. As we rise thousands of feet, the winds awaken. Now, talk about a different environmental vibe from the calm of the ceremony. We leave our relaxed sunlit vibrant green landscape with a golden glow. Then, we find bone chilling, unrelenting gusts of wind. Certainly, it requires an adjustment. The sun sets behind clouds that look like they bellow from a lagoon or dragon’s lair. It was incredibly breathtaking!
Abby and Anthony, thank you for adventuring through Rocky Mountain National Park for your 3M Curve elopement! Abby, you are such a rockstar! We appreciate you bearing the cold, even barefoot on occasion. The image that always stands out to us is you two walking into the sunset with the epic, cloudy and mountainous landscape – so stunning!
